Cleaning shower curtains can be very challenging, if you’re uncertain how to do it properly.  With the material, they make shower curtains with nowadays; you can wash it in your washing machine.  All you have to do is to mix some vinegar, bleach with your detergent, and wash your curtain together with your white towels.  This way, you can save time since you can wash two things at the same time.  If you wash your shower curtain every week, you don’t have to worry about guests using your shower since you’re certain that you have a clean shower curtain.

Another way to clean shower curtains is by soaking your curtain in some salt water.  This will prevent mildew from forming on your curtains.  Be sure not to use too much salt to avoid small salt crystals from forming on the curtain.  Vinegar is also a great prevention of mildew.  Keep in mind that you must never put your shower curtains in a tumble dryer.  The heat will ruin the material of the curtain and if you have steel rings in the curtain, it will rust.  Just hang your curtain outside in the sun instead.
