These are just 5 projects that I have used and you can create your own to fit the space you have because every little nook and crannies is different but every one should be filled with something useful.

1.Build shelves,draws or a closet storage area under a stairway area instead of just boxing it in.

2.Make shallow shelves in between the studs in your interior walls. these are not very deep but a good place for wine glasses,plates or small items. Line the back of the shelves with mirrors which will make them look bigger and deeper than they are.

3.If the room has a bay window be sure and ad a window seat with storage underneath.

4.If the bay window is in a kitchen area a unique thing to do is ad a window set and use it as the interior seats to your table which will ad more seats and space to your room. At the end of your window seats make a couple of shelves for plates or storage .

5.Take advantage of the space all the way to your ceilings. Using built-in cabinets all the way to the ceiling will help with storage and when they go all the way to the ceiling they will pull the eyes upward creating an illusion of a larger space.

There are endless ways to utilize space. Be creative and use yours the way that makes it the most useful for you. if at first you don’t feel comfortable doing it yourself hire a handyman to work along side of you and learn as you go.
